Audi TT MK2 non standard aluminium bonnet pin
Having broken 4 plastic bonnet pins in 8 months of owning my Audi TT MK2 Black Edition Amplified I decided to search for an alternative solution, nothing existed so I set about a bespoke aluminium solution.
Using my previous foundry skills I set about casting my own sample to see if it worked before commissioning, my first attempt, although rough worked a treat so I put them into production through a 3rd party.
I'm not sure why Audi made this important pin in plastic but here is my finished product for sale on here, eBay and FB forums.
