I'm a Chartered Transport Planner with a Civil Engineering background and qualification, I have 22 years experience of working within Local Government and I am extremely proud to say that I work for Staffordshire County Council.

I am currently Team Leader of Staffordshire's bus information and infrastructure team and a vastly experienced Project Manager.

My experience ranges from Engineering, Planning, Development Control, s106 Agreements, Scheme Design and Delivery, Budget Management, Managing Consultants, Staff Development, Procurement, Wellbeing and Mentoring.

I am extremely corporate but at the same time always maintaining a high level of understanding of the commercial environment and looking for opportunities to generate income.

I consider myself to be a real people person, I truly believe that building healthy working relationships leads to success. I would say that my leadership style is a Legacy Leader.

I am currently leading on various high-profile projects at Staffordshire Council from managing and delivering Staffordshire’s £9.5m Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) project under an NEC 3 Contract, to delivering my industry leading self sustainability idea through the current RTPI system which will ensure my team are fit for the future by becoming self-sufficient.

I have held a leadership position in the delivery of new HR and Finance systems, using my innovation skills I have developed numerous engineering solutions to ease congestion for all sustainable travel modes within Staffordshire.

I am open, honest and trustworthy - feedback from colleagues say I am unique and "not your usual Local Government Employee" due to the fact that I have a real commercial mentality.

I am popular, have integrity, approachable, friendly, accountable, I am emotionally intelligent, compassionate and someone who is very reliable. I have excellent inter-personal and communication skills and I am more than capable when leading a team / working within a team / or working independently from inception to delivery.

Outside of working for Staffordshire County Council, in my spare time, I own my own company LOZA Solutions Ltd, fulfilling my passion for cars by specialising in innovative automotive solutions.

I am also a very proud member of Royal St David’s Golf Club in Harlech and play off a handicap of 5.
